Bob Barr the former Republican Georgia Congressman has been nominated as the Libertarian Party nominee for president. What? this came out of left field I live in Georgia and had no clue he was even running for president , so this gets me wondering as to what is his motivation. Why now so late ?. I like Bob Barr and had the pleasure to meet him several times but I can't get behind him this time around I cant stop to wonder what this will do for the general elections. Let's be realistic Bob Barr will not even come close to being the president but it will give Barack Obama the nomination which will be a tragedy to our great nation .
There are the challanges that face Bob Barr. First he needs to get on ballots and Ron Paul another true Libertarian running as a Republican is still on the ballots of all 50 states and with plenty of cash . That leads to his second big obstacle good ole Bob will have to raise alot of moola in a short period of time Obama and McCain will have an endless amount of cash to campaign. Third Bob will need to get some serious face time, he will be appearing on Comedy Central " The Colbert Report" sometime next week but that's not even nearly enough he will have to convince those liberal owned news companies to let him on the debates. He might get lucky because of his ties to the GOP and get on the Fox News debates but remember they almost didnt let Ron Paul get on till the last minute and he's running as a Republican.
If Bob Barr is serious about being president he will join the dog fight at the beginning of the game when I could truly see what he's about. Meanwhile at this stage in the game I'm going with McCain and Hopefully Bob Barr will start a real campaign or 2012.

Obama's Terrorist Connections
This is my first attempt at blogging so I hope you find it interesting. I had been wrestling with myself all day as to what should be my first topic with so much to choose from as of late especially with Hillary and Barack going at it you would think this should have been easy.So after starring at my laptop I decided that what I needed was to clear my head so I did what every 40 something year old man does now these days..I busted out my guitar hero III and played " Bulls on Parade" during my solo it hit me Bill Ayers that's it duh.I'm going to write about the connections of a known terrorist and a man that is running for the most powerful job on the face of the earth "President of the United States" Barack Obama.
In 1969, Bill Ayers joined a radical leftist group called Weatherman. Shortly after several Weatherman associates were building a bomb in a Greenwich village apartment to blow up Fort Dix in New Jersey during the construction of the bomb the bomb blew up and killed three members of the group forcing the group to go "Underground" causing them to change their name to the "Weatherman Underground".
On June 9 1970 the group bombed a New York City police station, On May 19 1972 they placed a bomb in the women’s bathroom in the Pentagon. On Oct. 20, 1981, in Nyack New York, the group attempted to rob a Brinks armored car containing more than $1 million. The robbery turned violent, resulting in the murder of two police officers and a security guard.
Now the connection(S) between Obama and Ayers. George Stephanopoulos during a debate on ABC between Hillary and Obama asked Obama about his relationship with Ayers, Obama replied “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He continued to try to distance himself from this terrorist by saying “He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis,” Obama continued. “And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense, George.” But they have quite a bit more of a connection than that. He's appeared on panels with Ayers, served on a foundation board with him and held a 1995 campaign event at the home of Ayers and his wife, fellow terrorist Bernardine Dohrn. Ayers even gave money to one of his campaigns.
It outrages me that any American can possibly even think about voting for this man especially after 9/11!
